A replica of an evacuee tag used by children during World War 2. Each template can be printed and folded over to create a double-sided tag. Print onto coloured paper or make it look old by staining with tea bags. There are four evacuee tags to a printable A4 page.

    Why did they have tags

      Children were sent from the larger cities to the safer countryside, and had to be identified easily.

      This is so that they can be identified easily and so that a record is kept of who they stayed with during the evacuation.
