Here at Paperzip, we love ideas of recycling old objects and transforming them into something a bit more useful and easier on the eye.
One of the easiest things we’ve found is recycling old cardboard mail boxes into beautiful storage containers for the classroom. As they are just boxes, they probably won’t hold too many heavy items, but the structure should support a fair amount if they’re made of a thick cardboard. If you’re going to use something like a cereal box, it’ll obviously support fewer items.
Once you’ve taped a few of the boxes together, you can decorate with colourful paper or get pupils to paint some quirky designs on them.
