Managing your classroom books couldn’t be simpler!
Our classroom library kit has everything you need to organise your collection of books.
The resource includes three main files: a book label, a record sheet and a student library card. There are two designs to choose from.
The labels obviously need a sticky back to be functional, so you’ll need to print these onto adhesive paper. We’d recommend a removable label (from a company like Avery) so that you can discard the label when necessary and it won’t damage the book. The labels are A5 so you can print 4 to a page if you wanted to.
The record sheet is A4 and allows you to record the date, name of borrower, book title and return date.
The student library card is essentially a reward card for encouraging reading. It contains 10 circles for recording the number of books read.
In every file the text can be edited, allowing you to have your own unique library experience for your classroom.
The templates are editable in Apple Pages, which can be downloaded for free on Mac, iPad or iPhone. It can also be accessed at iCloud.com from any web browser.
The fonts used in our design (Libre Baskerville, Alata and Playfair Display) can be downloaded for free at Google Fonts.
