For those that are unaware of WordPress, it’s a platform for running a blog. You don’t need to know any code; you just type your post, tap a few buttons and publish it for the world to see.
Paperzip is powered by WordPress because it’s easy for us to add new content. We won’t go into too much detail, but if you’d like more information, check out this post for an introduction.
The WordPress app is filled with features for running your classroom blog. Just like the website, you can add images, reply to comments and check how many visitors have viewed your blog. The interface makes it really simple to write articles and it’ll even check your spelling too! You can also set it up to receive notifications whenever you get a new comment.
Class blogs are becoming more and more popular as they’re a great way for pupils to reach out to the real world. This way, parents and friends can view what the class has been up to or who has produced outstanding work. As the website is on the internet, it can even be accessed by relatives that might live thousands of miles away on the other side of the globe.
If you already have a class blog, why not take a look at quadblogging where you can connect with other schools around the world.
