From the Monarch Butterfly to a Giant Panda, the WWF have created free origami templates to accompany their brilliant iPad app.
If you or your class has an iPad, you have to check out the WWF Together app. It’s beautifully designed and helps make you aware of the world’s most endangered species. If you don’t have access to an iPad, don’t worry, as you don’t need one to create the origami animals.
In order to view the templates, you need to sign up to the free WWF newsletter. Once you’ve entered your details, the animals are sorted into three categories: simple, intermediate and complex. Clicking on a template will open up a PDF that you can then print off for any lessons, or save paper and display it on a SMARTboard.
Some of the animals you can make are:
- Butterfly
- Gorilla
- Shark
- Polar Bear
- Panda
- Penguin
