Friendly monsters help build vocabulary in Endless Alphabet

,
endless alphabet app for learning words and spelling

Endless Alphabet helps children learn letters and words in a colourful, interactive environment.

They pick a word and have to drag the individual letters onto the word to spell it out. As letters are moved they make relevant phonic sounds and wriggle delightfully. Once the final letter is in place and the word is completed, a short animation illustrates the definition. To keep children interested and coming back for more, new words are added periodically and appear without having to update the app.

Endless Alphabet is simple in concept, but rich in quality; the sounds and monster-themed animations are all lovely. However, take note of a couple of minor issues: you need to be online to see words beyond the letter G and it is quite expensive at £8.99.
