Mad Libs is such a great idea, and a personal favourite of ours.
For those that don’t know, Mad Libs is a game where sentences have various words missing and you have to fill in the blanks by using adjectives, verbs and more. Under each blank line is the type of word needed, whether that’s an adjective or an adverb.
The example below is taken from the book.
Not only is it a fun and often amusing game, but it encourages children to think about a wider range of vocabulary.
