Library pegs for classroom organisation

Keeping track of the books in your class can be a nightmare. These two simple, but ingenious, ideas could save you hours sorting, tidying and finding books.

1. Give each pupil a peg, when they take a book from a book basket they leave their peg to show which basket their book came from.

2. Give each pupil a long, laminated piece of card with their name on it, similar to book mark size but longer. Then when pupils take a book off the book shelf they leave their extra long book mark between the two books they got their book.
